Arranged and rung in affectionate memory of Brian Bull.
Brian Bull learnt to ring at Putney in 1958 with Chris Mew, he went on to give Michael a hand in learning to ring in 1960. Michael had known Brian 70 years, they first met when Brian was a server in the Church under Michaels Father.
They were in William's first peal, which was at Putney in 1965. Just after Brian's stint of being Tower Captain.
After moving to Radcliffe in the late 1960s he rang there for over 55 years, including many as Tower Captain, which in this period is when the rest of the band rang with him.
He remained good friends with all Putney Ringers and returned in 2003 to ring a peal for the restoration of the bells being lowered in the tower, this included 5 previous and current Tower Captains.
Putney was his leading peal tower with Radcliffe in second place.
Unfortunately Christine Mills-Kennedy, Sharon Male, Susan O'Neill, Lynnette Sugden, Stephen Mills were unnable to take part in the peal and wish to be associated with this performance.
