Rung in memory of Lance Sergeant Robert Edward Barton of the 7th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment. He was killed on 13th March 1916 aged 26. He was the son of Robert and Jesse Barton of Quaker Lane, Farnsfield and is buried in the Communal Cemetery at Phalempin, near Lille, France
