Rung prior to the Sunday at Six service. To the memory of Gunner Arthur Edwin Shirfield who died on December 9th 1915 of diptheria just before he was due to leave for the front. Also remembering Rachel Corfield, Sylvia Redway and Emily Smith who all died recently. They were the mothers of three Alresford ringers: Rex, Ian, and Jenny Hawkins.
