Rung to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the casting of the back four bells (by George Lee of Congleton) and the 300th anniversary of the first recorded peal at St Peter Mancroft, Norwich (2 May 1715). Also to celebrate the birth, today, of a daughter to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and of Reggie Alexander Hunter (26 April). The peal, by a resident Chester Branch band, is the first on the augmented bells. First peal: 1.
