Having found myself in idle moments ringing the odd peal at St Vedast, in the City of London, it ocurred to me to air the idea of a whole band circling the tower simultaneously. All we needed were five more game ringers, capable of pealing all six bells (tenor 17cwt) with sufficient patience to stick with the plan over the relentlessly passing years. Though the final act has been thwarted twice before (indisposition, double booking - that sort of thing) it all came together in fine style on January 19th. Rather pleasingly, two of the band learnt to ring at St Vedast. The band in order of ringing clockwise from bottom right.
