Rung by the local band to wish the Rev David Payne and his family all the best in there move from Metheringham to Newark. The quarter was rung before his last service at St Peters Dunston.
David has been the Vicar of Dunston, Metheringham & Blankney for 5 years and in this time he has been a good friend to the ringers. He is now moving to Newark to take up the post of Chaplin at Newark Hospital. Local ringer Ian Townsend would also like to be associated with the quarters.
