Rung as a farewell compliment to Antje Siemer returning to her native Bremen (Germany) after a year in Yorkshire as a teaching assistant. During that time she has learnt to ring at Lightcliffe and enjoyed being able to take part in an English "hobby". Antje is the second German person to have learnt to ring at Lightcliffe - we previously taught Anke Bellaire in 1987 who also rang a quarter before leaving in 1988.
