Rung following Parish Communion, during which a candle was lit to remember the centenary of the death in The Great War of Gnr. Herbert Claude Stubbs of this parish, aboard H.M.S. Hogue. The band also wishes to remember brother of Claude, 2nd Lt. Lewis Robert Stubbs M.C. of this parish, who also lost his life in action in The Great War. Both were Carol's great uncle.
