45th peal in the tower (since 1748) and first in the method since rehanging in 1975.

For the 80th birthday of H.M. the Queen, and rung during the town Fair.

This peal was sponsored and raised approximately £1000 for the replacement of louvres in the ringing room. The peal was followed by tours of the tower for parishioners. Best thanks to the Minister, Town Council and local ringers for their support of this peal, and the Churchwarden of Burmarsh for allowing us to borrow Burmarsh bellropes.
