200th Peal of Surprise Major - 7.
Rung by friends from the Beverley and District Ringing Society in memory of David S. Johnson of Kirk Ella who died on Tuesday 16th August 2005. St Andrew's Kirk Ella was the church were David had been a lifelong ringer until prevented by illness from active participation. David was made an Honorary Life Member of the Society in 1996 and rang 196 Peals for them. His presence will be greatly missed by all those who new him. May he rest in peace.
The band would also like to associate Susan and Edward Watson with this Peal as they were in the original band but were not available today.
