On the anniversary of William Sawyer's last peal, which was rung at this tower on January 16, 1949. William Sawyer was the grandfather of Peter Sawyer and was aged 71 at the time of the peal, while Peter is in his 71st year. The band would also like to remember Phil Rothera, who passed away on January 13.
