Rung as an 80th birthday compliment to Jean Jeffery. In Colin Bateman's 'MysteryMan' novels, 'No Alibis' is a crime fiction bookshop from which owner 'The Detective With No Name' solves mysteries on behalf of the citizens of Belfast. Jean recommended these books to Michael who in turn recommended them to the conductor. 'No Alibis' is also a real bookshop in Belfast specialising in crime fiction
