Celebrating the life and legacy of Fabian Stedman (1640-1713) on the 300th anniversary of his burial.
The first book about ringing, Tintinnalogia, was written by Richard Duckworth and published by Fabian Stedman in 1668. Richard Duckworth was Rector of St Martin's, Carfax 1676-1682, and installed this current ring of six bells in the tower.
