General Ringing
Before service, with the bells with the bells fully muffled, 720, and 160 of Bob Major, conducted by J. French. After service, 1344, the same method, conducted by F. Claydon, with the bells half-muffled. On Sunday November 1st, for morning service, 576 Kent Treble Bob Major; for evening service, 448 Bob Major; after service, 416 Double Norwich Court, all conducted by J. French.

The object of the muffled ringing was announced to the congregation by the Vicar the preceding Sunday. The bells remained half-muffled for the Sunday ringing, with the exception of the last touch (416 Double Norwich), which was rung open.
