Rung for the Trafalgar Day Service, commemorating the service of Royal Marine Major Lewis Roteley who was on HMS Victory at Trafalgar, and he is buried in this churchyard. A wreath was laid at his memorial during the service by The Lord Lieutenant of Glamorgan, the High Sheriff of West Glamorgan and the Lord Mayor of Swansea.
