This is believed to be the first peal on these bells, which have been in the tower since 1697. C Preston, W Wheeldon and W Fradley hail from Bucknall, P Kelsall from Burslem, J Walley and J E Wheeldon from Norton-le-Moors. The band wish to thank the Audley ringers for kindly providing refreshments after the peal, and also the Vicar (Rev. W Sykes) for the use of the bells.
