Rung at the beginning of our regular Friday practice night, to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VJ-Day, at the end of the Second World War. Remembering especially the many men of the Suffolk Regiment who served and gave their lives in the Far East, or came home traumatised by their time in Japanese POW camps. Also rung in hope of peace in our time.
