Rung half muffled immediately following the funeral of Shirley Short and during her interment in the neighbouring cemetery. Shirley was a member of the congregation of this church for many decades, Churchwarden for seventeen years until earlier this year. Her name is cast on the second bell of this ring because she was Churchwarden when it was cast. This bell was tolled prior to her funeral.
