First peal in the method - 6,7. First peal in the method as conductor. Rung as a birthday compliment to the ringers of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th; also to Mr and Mrs J Roos upon their golden wedding, Mr Roos having formerly been a member of the above tower. Ringers of the 3rd, 6th and 7th hail from Idle, 4th from Bolton, the rest belong to the local band.
