First peal away from Tenor - 1. Rung as a farewell compliment to the Rev J Bennett MA on his retirement after more than 37 years as Vicar of the above parish, and during whose incumbency the church was restored and the bells installed. The ringers expressed their good wishes when, after the peal, he kindly entertained them at the Vicarage.
