Later in the evening the ringers’ annual supper was held at The Clarence hotel. The chair was taken by the Rev. H. J. Ker Thompson, and the vice-chair by Mr. A. Whitaker, (churchwarden). There were also present in addition to the ringers, Mr. J. Cox (churchwarden), the Rev. E. G. Austin (Vicar of Berrow), and a good few friends. After ample justice had been done to the good things provided, the usual toasts were given, and some capital songs and recitations were given.
