On P370 the following note appears:
NOTES TO PEALS.
The Peal at Burnham. — This is the first peal on the bells, which have been recently rehung and two new trebles added by Mears and Stainbank of London, to whom great praise is due, the go of the bells being perfect. The band take this opportunity to thank the Vicar for the use of the bells, the churchwardens for kindly supplying refreshments, and the local men for giving them such a hearty welcome.
The last-named are now taking up change ringing, and it is hoped they will put their shoulder to the wheel and make a good job of it.
