Rung half-muffled prior to the Service of Remembrance in memory of Sheila Moulds (29/08/1935 - 19/10/2024) former ringer at this tower. Sheila was previously a member of the Halifax All Souls band of the 1950’s and 1960’s who were capable of ringing Spliced Surprise Major for Sunday service - a feat rarely heard outside London at that time.
