69 tolls in honoured memory of Kīngi Tūheitia Pōtatau Te Wherowhero VII (GCCT KStJ KCLJ, 1955-2024) who died on 30th August 2024. This was followed by open ringing to celebrate the coronation of Te Arikinui Kuīni Ngā Wai Hono i te Pō on 5th September 2024, the final day of the tangihanga (funeral) of her father, Kīngi Tūheitia, at Tūrangawaewae Marae. Included was 27 rounds of Queens in recognition that Ngā Wai Hono i te Pō is the current youngest monarch at age 27.
