The tenor bell tolled prior to the funeral service for Peter Richard Reeve of Leadenham Hall.
Peter died on 18th February 2024 aged 76. As one of his Manorial duties he was Patron of the Living of St Swithun’s Church. Leadenham Hall, which stand directly next door to the Church, was built between 1790 & 1796 by William Reeve and has been the seat of the Reeve’s family ever since.
