Rung as an affectionate tribute to the life and achievements of R Jean Nixon. Jean was a member of the Woodlands’ Wednesday Band from 2012 to 2023 and, with 105 peals on the bells, Woodlands was Jean’s leading peal-tower. Jean and Phil rang 129 peals together and the next four ringers in Jean’s list of fellow peal ringers were all Woodlands’ ‘regulars’. Rowena Gay wishes to be associated with this tribute.
