An acrostic peal in fond memory of Edwin C Hynard, who died on 24 May 2023 aged 98. Ed was tower captain at Polstead for many years and taught numerous people to ring, including Astrid Gale and Sue Freeman. Ed was elected a Life Honorary Member of the Guild in 2005. Ed was also a respected maths teacher for many years at Stoke-by-Nayland, who taught John Loveless's sister Valerie. The band wishes to associate this peal with Christine Knight, the organiser, who was unable to ring today because of ill health. A Suffolk Guild centenary peal.
