5040 Grandsire Triples
1 James E Passmore
2 Herbert H Tucker
3 Stephen Thomas
4 Walter W Porch
5 Robert E Chichester, Esq
6 George T Daltry
7 Henry Porch (C)
8 Alfred Harrington
First peal: 1, 3, 5, 8.
This peal was rung at the second attempt, and is now rung for the second time in this city. Great credit is due to Mr Porch for the masterly way he conducted the peal, the stay of the 7th having been broken, consequently a double responsibility was heaped upon him. Robert E Chichester, Esq. hails from Barnstaple; the rest are local men.
This peal included a first peal ringer on bells 1, 3, 5 and 8
