Rung by the local band on ‘Bells Sunday’ prior to the morning service celebrating the feast of St Dunstan (19th May), Patron Saint of Bell Ringers, and acknowledging and thanking the ringers for their service, dedication and contribution to the Church and local community.

Ray Cucksey (Tower Captain at Branston) wishes to be associated with today’s ringing and service, but was unable to attend due to ill health.

The four hymns during the service were all ringers hymns selected by the bell ringers.

The Prayers of Intercession were based around St Dunstan, the bells and the ringers.

Cameras were placed up in the bell chamber and ringing chamber connected to TV screens down in the ground floor porch so the congregation could see the bells being rung as they entered the Church.

Ye ringers sound your message,

That people far and near,

May come to God’s own temple,

And love to worship here.

Unseen your service may be,

Yet known to God on high,

So on the Lord’s day fail not,

His works to magnify.
