Rung on The Feast Day of St Alfege, Archbishop of Canterbury, who was martyred on the site of this church in 1012. This year marks the 1000th anniversary of the Translation of St. Alfege's body from St Paul's Cathedral to Canterbury Cathedral in June 1023.
Rung on practice night with John Bonney and Jan Odell ringing some short touches and Beverley Sharp-Georgiev ringing her first (assisted) rounds.
