Rung immediately prior to the mass led by Fr. Arturo Sosa, Superior General of The Society of Jesus, at Saint Francis Xavier’s Church. They, having built, staffed and maintained this church since 1848, will have their last mass here this coming Sunday.
The Liverpool Universities Society would like to thank the Jesuits for allowing us to use this tower as our home since 1960, and look forward to continuing this in the future now the church will be staffed directly by the Archdiocese of Liverpool.
