The above was rung with the bells muffled as a token of deep sympathy for the Rev. Canon Heywood, who had been vicar ot the above church for 31 years. Mr Percival Heywood, who is the President of the Midland Counties' Association was present at the funeral, which took place in the above church-yard the same day.
