Especially arranged and rung as a forthcoming 87th birthday compliment to Canon Norman Harman Woods BD, AKC, who Served his Title at this church 1963-68 under Team Rector Rev Fr Arthur Royall (see attached photo). Canon Woods was later Vicar of Hythe, Kent 1976-2001 and baptised the Conductor of this QP and prepared him for Confirmation. On the 50th anniversary to the day of the Organist & Choirmaster of Hythe Parish Church conducting the choir at his first service in post there.

Also a recent 17th birthday anniversary compliment to the 9th ringer.

The Feast of St Frideswide (which Christ Church, Oxford Established as a Mission here under the name of this Oxford Saint) is also hereby celebrated, along with the upcoming Parish Feast of Title.
