Wednesday last being the anniversary of the battle of Waterloo, the inhabitants of Hadleigh were highly gratified with a musical peal of Bob Major, consisting of 5040 changes, being the only one that has been rung in that steeple for the last 70 years. David Bayes was only 20 years of age and conducted the peal.
