1st Quarter Peal on the newly restored bellropes installed yesterday, with thanks to Brigg Town Council for the necessary funding.

Rung on the monthly Brigg Farmers Market day in tribute to and in thanksgiving for the lives of Brian and Sylvia Riggall, both of whom have died recently in their 80s, Sylvia in March and Brian this month. In 1964 they founded 'Brian's D-I-Y' in the town centre and thereafter faithfully served the community in their business which has for 58 years been famous for being the shop that sells everything. If no-one else had it, Brian's did; anything from a single screw to a tap-washer. Brian and Sylvia were well known to everyone who frequented Brigg and will be sadly missed.
