To welcome the safe arrival of Miss A.M. Buck (later, Madden), on The Feast of the Presentation; Tower Captain here 2011-12, and to celebrate the purchase and installation of the new bellropes here, part-funded by PCC and the rest made up through funds raised by a disco arranged by Burmarsh ringer Miss A.M. Cox (Miss Madden's half-sister), their mother and other young local ringers at the time, including Miss L. Seymour, Miss K. Pedder, Miss S. Gifford (Capt 1999-2001) and Miss T. Alder.
This was the first QP and at first attempt on the new 'Pritchard' ropes (still going strong in mid 2022).
