Rung to commemorate the centenary of the enactment of a Charter amalgamating the urban districts of Lytham and St. Anne's on the Sea into a municipal corporation named the Borough of Lytham St. Annes. The ringing was timed to follow the re-enactment of the 1922 proclamation in St. Anne's Square.
