Rung for the Royal May Day Festival. Also as a compliment to S. Hough. Sen., who first rang for May Day 60 years ago and who has rung for it on fifty occasions. He conducted the conductor’s first peal 21 years ago (May 5th, 1934) when the arrangement of the extents was the same as in this peal.
