First quarter in method: Aha Surprise Major 34-58.14.58.12-38.12.34.12.58-36-78,12 Aha - Second Pharaoh of the first dynasty of Egypt. Believed to be son and heir of Marker. Achievements: An ivory tablet records the "Year of smiting of Ta-Sety" - where Aha led an expedition against the Nubians. A striking innovation of Aha's tomb is that members of the royal household were buried with the Pharaoh. A total of 36 bodies which represent the earliest known retainer sacrifices in Egypt. This policy did however prove unpopular amongst members of the royal household as it made it somewhat challenging for those who were hoping for a long career working in the royal household. £6.00 This performance is linked to the events: Egyptian Pharoes, Gloucestershire Weds Eves and Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association — WUE Branch 2022 This performance was rung In memoriam — Ian Unsworth 6 people like this | |
