On May 15th 1825 was rung at Kenninghall in the county of Norfolk on that musical peal of 8 bells 6720 changes of that intricate composition Treble Bob Major in a superior style with the tenors parted and was perfectly completed in the space of four hours without a bell being out of course or the repetition of a single change and brought round in high style conducted by Mr Ringer and rung by the following.
"This was intended for a ten thousand but John Ringer had arranged it so he could bring it home if anything accoured so the tenor man told him that he could not go for the ten thousand as i have heard, I never heard the composer."
