Rung on the back five prior to the Christmas Eve Crib Service.
Dedicated in memory of Fran Brealey of neighbouring Welbourn who sadly passed away on 20th Dec. Fran and her husband paid for the unringable peal of eight bells at Hagworthingham to be removed and then restored and rehung at Welbourn in 1978. Fran always gave a warm welcome to visiting ringers at Welbourn and always loved hearing her bells rung. RIP Fran your warm welcomes will be greatly missed!
Wishing the Village a Happy Christmas and hopefully bringing some festive cheer to all those within earshot of the bells. ‘Let steeple bells be swungen’
