This peal was rung to commemorate the twenty-fifth birthday of Mr. Chandler, also the forty-first of Mr. Knights, whose was the day before. It was rung as a farewell peal to Mr. Harry Cook, who is leaving the neighbourhood. This is the longest peal ever rung in Sussex, and is the 200th peal by the Sussex County Association since its formation in January, 1885.
