First peal of Stedman Cinques: 6. This is the longest peal yet rang on twelve bells, and was heard by a great number of ringers, including Messrs. Thompson from Derby, C. Hounslow (Oxford), J. Carter, S. Reeves, W. R. Small and all the local men congratulated the band on the excellent ringing throughout the peal.
