Specially arranged and rung to mark the centenary last week of the start of construction of the first experimental tank “No1 Lincoln Machine” which was begun on 11th August 1915 and built at the William Foster & Co Wellington Foundry in Lincoln, which stood in this parish less than half a mile from this Church.
