The Peal of Cambridge Maximus at Ipswich – This is the first peal ever rang in this intricate method, and it must be conceded that such a performance bespeaks the highest need of praise for all the performers who took part. In achieving this they have added luster to the annals of their society, and also to the Norwich Association, of whom all are members. The brothers Pye hail from Leytonstone, Essex: Prewett from Bushey; all the rest are members of the St. Mary-le-Tower Society, Ipswich.
