On Sunday, the 23rd August, the Somerleyton Branch of the Norwich Diocesan Association of Ringers rang 360 changes of Grandsire Minor for morning service.
And in the afternoon a peal of 720 Oxford Treble Bob, with James Orford on the fourth, the others as before; R. J. Kittle, conductor.
The above were rung with the bells muffled as a last token of respect to the memory of the late Rev. H. T. Ellacombe.
