Ringing In The New Year on The Ship's Bell - Firing

Following seafaring tradition on board the British Antarctic Survey's new polar vessel, the RRS Sir David Attenborough, the old year was rung out on the ship's bell by the eldest member of the crew and the New Year was welcomed in by the youngest.
Captain William Whatley ordered the ship's whistle to be sounded.
