A quarter peal was rung on the Diamond Anniversary of the Wedding of Mr & Mrs Thomas Meredith of Church Street, Broseley. Thomas Meredith was for 64 years a ringer in this tower & lead ringer for many years.

It is of special note that the tenor ringer was 75 years old.
