Rung at the request of the Churchwarden in memory of David Mitchell.

Rung whilst the Church was open for Private Prayer at the exact time that David’s funeral was taking place down in Devon, so friends could light candles in Church in memory of him. David and his wife Christine lived in Potterhanworth for many years and were loyal members of the congregation and supporters of this Church before moving down to Budleigh Salterton. They were both big supporters of the Bell Fund between 1999 & 2004 when we were raising funds to restore and augment our bells, Christine being one of the main fund raisers.
