Rung on Battle of Britain Day to mark the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. 15th September was the decisive day and was a turning point in the war.
Allso in thanksgiving for the life of Squadron Leader Allan Scott, the last Spitfire Ace, who died on Tuesday 8th September aged 99. Also in memory of all who died during the Battle of Britain.
